Should a private person provide capital to companies?

In my opinion everyone should do this. It's another way to make an impact.

Every year you get a ballot that you can use to help decide which political direction a country should take.

Nowadays, one has the opportunity to make an impact worldwide by choosing to invest in companies.

For example, I quite simply like Coca Cola and would still like to drink Coca Cola in 20 years.

So I decide to provide the company with capital and thus support the continued existence of the delicious drink.

In return, Coca Cola gives me a share of the profits in the form of a dividend payment for my company shares and I can benefit from the continued success of the company.
